The wine has been aged in small white oak barrels for more than 35 years. Another aspect of quality gives Alma Gran Cuvée the recognized complexity of aroma and taste. 

The composition of the grape is now redefined by a larger proportion of Pinot Noir (22%), which introduces character, structure and depth to the composition represented by Chardonnay (77%) and Pinot Noir (1%).

For 40 years, we have been focusing on increasing the refining time of Alma Gran Cuvée. In practice, time is our biggest ally in developing a technology, and we have promoted this technology into a truly appropriate art form. Starting from the harvest period, the refining period of Alma Gran Cuvée is at least 40 months.

Taste: White, rich and long lasting mousse. The tiny pearl-like chains form a distinct crown that lasts. Energetic bubbles and full of energy. Bright yellow with obvious green flashes.

The aroma is characterized by a strong mineral taste. Full and inviting, with a hint of sweet ripe fruit, meringue, pastry and candied citrus peel.

It perfectly matches the taste of the nose, with a creamy, almost crunchy feel, and a texture that combines elegance and lightness, depth and harmony.
